History of Acupuncture
In an acupuncture treatment, extremely fine and flexible needles are placed at specific points on meridians leading to the organs, muscles and nerves of the body. When the needles are inserted you may experience a sensation of tingling, numbness or warmth. Some even feel no sensation at all. People are surprised to find that treatments are actually quite relaxing.

The initial visit takes about one hour and fifteen minutes and includes a complete consultation and treatment. Follow-up treatments last about 40 minutes, and may be scheduled twice a week. As symptoms improve, fewer visits are required. Within ten to fifteen sessions, most of the patients gain beneficial results. Chronic conditions may require more extended treatment.

Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology are safe medical procedures and are well known for their efficacy and lack of side-effects when administered by a qualified practitioner. Only pre-sterilized, disposable needles are used in this clinic.
