What are your hours of operation?
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9 - 5
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 - 6
Saturdays by appointment only.

What can I expect during the initial visit?
During our 1 1/2 hour consultation with new patients, we discuss at length your emotional, mental and physical status.

Do you prescribe drugs?
As naturopaths we avoid the use of drugs and procedures that interrupt normal function and have unintended negative (side) effects. We use nontoxic therapies based on physiologic principles to treat the whole individual, not just the disease or condition.

What are your fees?
Fee Schedule: Effective January 1, 2005

Homeopathic Visit
Initial (New patient Visit)	$270.00	New patients: A deposit of $150 is due three weeks before your initial visit
Second Nutritional Visit	$95.00 plus the cost of supplements*
Subsequent Visits	$80.00 plus the cost of supplements*
Acupuncture Visit

Do you have a deposit policy for initial visits?
Yes.
In the past we have had people to make appointments and not call to cancel or come for the appointment, so we request that all new patients submit a deposit prior to their initial visit. The balance of fees must be paid on the date of the initial visit.
Do you have a fee for missed appointments?
Yes.
Because we do not double book patients, we request that patients call 24 hours ahead to cancel appointments. There is a $45.00 fee for no shows or late cancellations.

Do you accept credit cards in addition to personal checks?
Yes, we accept personal checks, Visa, or MasterCard for initial visit, deposit, and follow-up fees.

Will my insurance cover the fees?
To date, medical insurance companies do not cover naturopathic visits.
However, we are aware of three that have accepted claims in the past: AETNA, NYCCARE, and CIGNA.

Please consult with your medical insurance provider regarding your
individual coverage for naturopathic visits.
